FAQs

  • Our program offers two options:

    One is Christian-based

    The other is non-religious

We only introduce spirituality into the premarital program if that's important to you and your future spouse.

  • It helps couples identify potential issues, improve communication skills, and develop strategies for handling conflicts. This preparation can lead to a more successful and fulfilling marriage.

  • Any couple planning to get married can benefit from premarital counseling/preparation. It is particularly useful for couples who want to strengthen their relationship and address any concerns before marriage.

  • Great question! There are a lot of people out there offering premarital preparation and counseling services. I want you to work with the person you feel is the best fit and can provide the highest quality service.

As for me, I'm a licensed counseling professional in multiple states, and have worked with 1000s of clients for almost 20 years. Being happily married for over 15 years, I understand firsthand the joys/challenges of maintaining a healthy marriage. And yes, we even completed the same exact assessment that you'll be taking as the first step in the preparation program.

My approach is very straightforward and practical. I'm not here to "therapize" you and dig into your past. I want you and your soon-to-be spouse to enjoy exploring your relationship (what works and needs some improvement) so that we set you up for long term marital success.
